BET Awards.....Eminem and Chris Brown

I felt last night, Eminem and Chris Brown's performance was oh so important. But to keep things in order of the BET awards, I'll start with Em.....I took his performance of "Not Afraid", as not just his hit single to promote his album, but as an apology to everyone in the music industry as well as his fans, for his addiction to drugs, as well as his lackluster performances on the mic, especially in his last two albums....I immediatly thought that it launched him back on top the rap world and back to his elite status....people are talking saying he looked sick, I say no, he looked more like the 36 year old man that he is, who has gone through many life changes including drug addiction. Great performance......On the next one, Chris Brown, first off nobody can dance as close to MJ as Breezy can, the man is ridiculous..second off there was no way in hell that those tears during Man in the Mirror were at all fake, MJ was this mans idol and whole reason he got into the industry. He said on his twitter account before the BET awards that he was nervous and ready to shit a brick.....I think he got hit with a ton of emotion and couldn't contain himself when man in the mirror hit because he felt as if he was singing to his idol as well as talkin about himself while in front of everybody, and like Em was apologizing to his fans and the industry. Damnit I say well Fuckin Done....so its time we get back to supporting him and stop giving him backlash for the R incident.....there is always 3 sides to every story, his side, her side, and the truth.

Young Money Rack Up Honors At 2010 BET Awards, But Chris Brown Steals The Show

The BET Awards hit the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday night June 27, and while the Young Money crew probably won some of the biggest awards, it wasn't the awards that were the show's highlights. It was the performances ... and there were plenty of good ones.

First, of course, Kanye West opened the show with his new single “Power”, T.I. performed “Yeah Ya Know” with Travis Barker backing him on the drums, Diddy brought out Ricky Ross The Boss and Nicki Minaj for the "Hello, Good Morning (Remix)," and even Eminem graced the stage for a performance of his new single "Not Afraid." Also Drizzy Drake blessed us with “Fireworks” and “Over” before bringing out Young Jeezy, who performed “Lose My Mind.”

Other performances included Usher with "There Goes My Baby," Alicia Keys with an array of hits, Janelle Monae with "Let's Go Crazy," Patti LaBelle with "Purple Rain," and El DeBarge also made a comeback.

But, in the end, it was our homie C-Breezy aka Chris Brown's emotional tribute to Michael Jackson which was epic to say the least. Breezy wore MJ's trademark fedora, bandaged fingers, high-water pants, and a spangled glove. The homie even moonwalked across the stage. Then later, as he grabbed a microphone to sing "Man in the Mirror," Brown broke down in tears. His voice cracked, he couldn't sing, and at one point, dropped to his knees.

Look... Chris Brown killed that sh*t and I know damn well yall felt that sh*t. (Thanks Ye) Bottom line he left his heart on the stage and kept it honest. Look people…Chris Brown made a mistake… A big fucking mistake, but he is too talented for us to allow the industry to blacklist him. Music needs him; Higher Culture is begging everyone to give this man his career back, most importantly his life back!!! HOLD YA HEAD CHRIS… I’MA TAKE HER DOWN!
